Firudin Zeynalov Date of arrest: 1 October 2017 Charge: Articles 221.3 (Hooliganism committed with application of a weapon or subjects, used as the weapon) and 315.2 (Resistance or application of violence concerning the representative of authority) of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic Sentence: On 2 November 2018, the Ganja City Court for Serious Crimes sentenced to 3 years in prison. His sentence expired in 2020, but he was not released. A new case was opened against him on fabricated charges and he was accused of committing a crime together with Yunis Safarov. However, in 2018, during the assassination attempt on the mayor of Ganja City, F. Zeynalov was in prison. (Deliberate murder, connected to robbery, extortion, terrorism or gangsters) of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic. Sentence: On 16 August 2021, the Baku City Court for Serious Crimes sentenced to 19 years in prison
