“Meydan TV case” assigned to a new judicial panel

The criminal case related to the “Meydan TV case” has been reassigned to a new panel of judges.
According to the updated court composition, Judge Zaur Arif Hajiyev has been appointed as the presiding and reporting judge. The other members of the panel are Judges Azer Heydar Taghiyev and Roman Nəriman Alakbarli.
The court has not provided detailed reasons for the reassignment of the case to a new judicial panel.
Zaur Hajiyev’s judicial career shows that he has served in several courts in recent years. His professional record includes:

- June 3, 2025 – May 26, 2026: Baku Military Court
