Magnitude 3.5 Earthquake Recorded in the Caspian Sea

A 3.5-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Caspian Sea on Wednesday, according to the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismic Survey Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. (azertag.az⁠)

The seismic activity was registered at 11:53 local time. According to preliminary information, the earthquake occurred at a depth of approximately 18–19 kilometers beneath the sea. (azertag.az⁠)

No reports of damage, casualties, or disruptions have been received following the tremor. Authorities continue to monitor seismic activity in the region.
