The state-appointed lawyer told me that drugs were found in Alikram’s pocket, which is impossible. He has never used drugs, he campaigned against drug addiction, and we live in a rented house. How can drug dealers live in such poverty?” According to a statement provided by the press service of the “Muslim Unity” Movement, the police subjected Alikram Namazov to torture and forced him to admit his guilt to the charge of drug distribution.
